Nice composition blending curves and lines. I'm trying to figure out where you were when you took this - somewhere north of Eads bridge on the Illinois side, but it's mostly industrial and railroad over there.
I need to get out and shoot this weekend, except I have two Appeals Council briefs to write (neither involving a mutual friend).
Ah, I've just come here from Bob's St. Louis blog and his famous arch photos and now I see another. Very nice effect of the bridge with the arch in the background.
I've become interested in tiles, terra cotta, brick pattern design and other ornamentation on the brick buildings of St. Louis and have a second blog as of August 09 called St. Louis Mosaic at: stlouismosaic@blogspot.com
If you are new here, you will find some tile pictures and other ornamentation from the past month, the origins of this interest.
If you are only looking for ornamentation, you might as well just go on over to St. Louis Mosaic, where I am adding new stuff all the time and bringing over copies of everything that's here as well.
