St. Louis: around town

So, I saw this dog looking out of its second floor window but was in traffic and on the other side of a major street.
I went on the the PO to mail some stuff, came back by, saw that it was still there, did a U-ie at McDonald's, drew up and parked opposite.
I watched it for ten minutes.  It watched me intently for the first five. Then it went back to inspecting in all directions for anything of interest.

  1. I can't seem to post a comment in the St. Louis Mosaic anymore without creating some kind of ID. I guess I need to get around to doing that some day. Your pictures of the bricks are fascinating!!!

I also wanted to share something I ran across about Mosaics in St. Louis. According to http://www.prairieghosts.com/belcalv.html the mosaics even extend to tombs in St. Louis. According to the site, the Wainwright family tomb in Bellefontaine Cemetery has a "a domed ceiling and walls that are completely covered with intricate mosaic tile designs." And the family's name was not put on the outside of the tomb so that visitors would look inside and see the designs.
